Brisbane Police Interception: Man Tasered, Dragged From Vehicle In Fortitude Valley

A man has been slapped with more than 15 charges after allegedly ramming a police car and smashing into two other vehicles in dramatic scenes in Fortitude Valley on Friday night.

Police allege they had been following the car on St Pauls Terrace about 11.30pm on Friday when it did a U-turn and rammed the police vehicle. The car’s windscreen, driver and passenger-side windows were smashed, in an apparent attempt to stop the driver from fleeing. Police drew their firearms, tasered the man and dragged him from his vehicle to take him into custody.

Man Charged With Ramming Queensland Police Car, Possession Of Drugs And Weapons

A man has been charged with ramming a police car and two other vehicles in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley.

Police say they were following a stolen car on St Pauls Terrace when the driver did a sudden U-turn and rammed a police car and two parked cars.

Officers were able to corner the vehicle but the driver reversed and rammed the police car a second time.

A “Genius” Left Behind Licence Plate After Ramming Police Station Front Doors

A “genius” left their number plate behind after driving their ute through the front doors of a police station on Friday night.

The dark blue Ford Falcon Utility was driven through the front doors of the Harts Range police station, 120km northeast of Alice Springs, at about 10pm.

Police are searching for a 42-year-old man who was reportedly agitated and driving in a reckless manner earlier in the night.
