Shoalhaven City Council and Nowra Police Work To Find Bomaderry CCTV Camera Vandal

Community assistance is needed following the vandalism of a new CCTV camera that was recently installed in Bomaderry Hotel.

The camera, which had only finished being installed on Thursday, was damaged by an individual at 10.34pm that evening.

Shoalhaven City Council reported the incident to police and provided them with footage which will aid further investigations.

High Speed Pacific Highway Police Chase Ends After Spikes Strips Deployed On Stolen Car

A man has been arrested and charged with numerous offences after police pursued a stolen car along the Pacific Highway, south of Taree. Police were performing stationary speed enforcement duties on a section of the Pacific Highway near Nabiac on Sunday.

New Police Station Plan for Morisset, Lake Macquarie Local Area Command

A $2 million police station is planned at Morisset, documents lodged with Lake Macquarie City Council show. The plan includes demolishing the old station and building a new one. The new station would include officers from the Lake Macquarie Local Area Command, Police Transport Command, State Protection Group and Dog Unit, the documents said.

Police Link Canberra Drug Run To NSW Man’s Murder

A 46-year-old man charged with the murder of John Gasovski was meant to travel to Canberra to collect drugs with the Sydney man before he died. Sydney businessman John Gasovski was in line to pocket $5000 for an interstate drug run before he was shot in an execution-style killing last year, police will allege.

It will be alleged Mr Gasovski was involved in buying glassware to make drugs prior to his death. A series of raids as part of the organised crime squad drug investigation unearthed drug labs and an array of substances in Sydney last year.

Local Methamphetamine Forum In NSW To ‘Inform and Educate’

The struggle against crystal methamphetamine won’t be won by any one means.

A broad community response in the key to stamping out the use in regional areas – and it’s the message that Gundagai, NSW residents will hear during a forum this week.

Commonly known as ‘ice’ – crystal methamphetamine has been spreading into regional areas more and more.

Gundagai Shire Council’s community, library and information services manager Cindy Smith said there was a need to inform the community.
