Four men and a woman to face court following separate arrests – Mid North Coast LAC

Outside the home, officers from Mid North Coast Local Area Command arrested a 37-year-old man. A 47-year-old man was later arrested nearby.

Both men were taken to Port Macquarie Police Station where they were each charged with aggravated break, enter and commit serious indictable offence.

They were both refused bail and are due to appear at Port Macquarie Local Court today (Saturday 5 December 2015).

About 2.45pm (Friday 4 December 2015), officers from Mid North Coast Local Area Command attended a home on Jellico Street, Macksville, following reports that a man wanted on warrants was inside the home.

As police arrived, a man allegedly ran from the home. He was pursued on foot and arrested on Sturdee Street, nearby. A woman was also arrested at the home.

Police Are Investigating Following A Fatal Single-Vehicle Crash In Caroona, Early This Morning

Police are investigating following a fatal single-vehicle crash in Caroona, early this morning.

About 2.25am (Saturday 5 December 2015), emergency services were called to Coonabarabran Road, near the intersection of Mooki Road, following reports of a crash.

Initial investigations suggest a white Mazda dual cab utility was travelling east on Coonabarabran Road, when the vehicle left the roadway, rolled, and crashed into a tree.

The passenger of the Mazda, a 20-year-old man, died at the scene.

The driver, a 19-year-old man, was treated at the scene by Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Tamworth Hospital, with non-life-threatening injuries.

Can You Help Major Crime Squad Detectives Are Investigating The Circumstances Surrounding A Death

#Canyouhelp Major Crime Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 31 year old Lesmurdie man.

The injured man was located at his Grove Road home on Tuesday 24 November 2015 and was taken to hospital. He died in hospital on Thursday 26 November 2015.

Inquiries by local detectives has led to an investigation into his death by Major Crime Squad officers.

Man charged following alleged burnout and assault – St Helens Park

A 29-year-old man driving the Holden allegedly became involved in a fight with a 33-year-old man over the manner of driving.

The driver of the Holden allegedly assaulted the 33-year-old man causing the loss of a tooth.

Police from Campbelltown Local Area Command were alerted to the incident and attended the scene.

Officers arrested a 29-year-old man and took him to Campbelltown Police Station.

While in custody, officers noticed an injury to the man’s face from the fight and conveyed him to Campbelltown Hospital for treatment of a fractured eye socket.

Police investigate home invasion – Warren

A masked intruder broke into the house around 1.45am; in doing so, he woke up the occupants of the home – a 68-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman.

The man went to inspect the noise but was attacked by the intruder, and knocked unconscious.

The intruder then attacked the woman, throwing her to the ground before stealing a safe, containing cash, from a bedroom wardrobe.

He subsequently fled the location in a vehicle – believed to be a utility – with a very loud exhaust.

Police were called and attended the property a short time later.

Police Are Appealing For Witnesses Who May Have Seen A Distressed Girl

New South Wales Police on Saturday, 05/12/2015 15:29 AEST

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen a distressed girl, believed to be aged around 12 or 13, being carried into a van on the Central Coast.

Around 2.10pm today (Saturday 5 December 2015), police were contacted by witnesses who heard a child screaming near the Central Coast Highway at Long Jetty.

Police attended the location and spoke to the witnesses, including a 10-year-old boy who told police he saw a screaming girl being carried into a gold van by a man.

Officers also spoke to two adults, both of whom heard a girl screaming. The adults did not see the girl being carried into the car.

Police are now making inquiries into the matter and are keen to hear from anyone with information that may assist.

Suspicious death, Capalaba

Detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a man at Capalaba today.

Around 12.50pm the man was located deceased in a gully off Degen Road.

The man is yet to be formally identified.

A crime scene has been established.

Investigations are continuing.

Rye siege update

Police have arrested a man following a siege in a café in Rye today.

Two women aged 45 and 42 who were inside the café were released from the building shortly before the arrest and have been taken to hospital for observation.

The man surrendered himself to police without incident about 3.20pm.

The alarm was raised when the man was seen entering the shop, near the intersection of Ozone Street and Point Nepean Road, allegedly armed with a firearm about 7.45am.

The 69-year-old man, who is believed to have been armed, is currently being interviewed.

Police are pleased with crowd behaviour as Stereosonic kicked off at Bonython Park today.

Crowd numbers at 2pm were 10,744.  One person has been evicted for behaviour offences.

The police drug detection dog has stopped five people, resulting in three drug diversions and 19 pills seized.

First aid volunteers have treated a number of people for heat and alcohol-related issues.

Police urge festival-goers to look after each other and avoid reckless, risk-taking behaviour. If you or your friends find yourselves in difficulty, seek assistance immediately from police, ambulance personnel or other event officials.

Woman arrested at North Adelaide

A woman has been arrested after being spotted in the rear yard of a house in North Adelaide today.

Just before noon on Saturday 5 December, police received a call from a Melbourne Street, North Adelaide resident reporting a woman was in their yard.

Police arrived at the scene within minutes and located the woman in the front yard of the house next door.   Police will allege she stole a pair of shoes and a bicycle and resisted police when they arrested her.

The 45-year-old Highbury woman was charged with unlawfully on premises, resist arrest and two counts of theft.  She was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 12 February.

Armed robbery, Heathwood

Detectives are investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store at Heathwood this morning.

Around 9.10am a man wearing a motorcycle helmet entered the Parkwood Drive store before approaching an employee and ordering hot food.

When the female attendant proceeded to the counter with the hot food items, the man produced a firearm and demanded she handover cash from the till.

Another customer entered the store, prompting the man to grab the food and flee the scene.

The man is described as being about 180cm tall with a proportionate build and was wearing dark pants and a jacket and a black full-face helmet.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Missing Person in Balcatta Located

MISSING PERSON in Balcatta area

Missing Person on a blue Electric Gopher in company with his Pit Bull/Bull Mastiff dog called Red.

Gregory KLIMCZAK aged 47 left his home address in the gopher at 7:30pm last night (04/12/2015). Gregory contacted family at 2am this morning to advise that his gopher was flat and he was in Amelia Street near Wanneroo Road, Balcatta.

Searches have been made in the area by family, friends and Police but he has not been found as of yet.

Police search for Brad Bryant

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a teenager missing from Morwell.

Brad Bryant was last seen in Morwell on Thursday 26 November and hasn’t been seen since.

Police hold concerns for the welfare of the 14-year-old due to his age.

Brad is described as tall with a slim build; he has short dark brown hair, an olive complexion and brown eyes.

Investigators have released a photo of Brad in the hope that someone may have information on his current whereabouts.

A Man Has Been Charged After Allegedly Driving Dangerously And Assaulting A Man At St Helens Park Overnight

A man has been charged after allegedly driving dangerously and assaulting a man at St Helens Park overnight.

About 6.15pm (Friday 4 December 2015), police will allege that a black coloured Holden utility was performing burnouts in Moncrieff Close.

A 29-year-old man driving the Holden allegedly became involved in a fight with a 33-year-old man over the manner of driving.

The driver of the Holden allegedly assaulted the 33-year-old man causing the loss of a tooth.

Police from Campbelltown Local Area Command were alerted to the incident and attended the scene.

Police in the state’s north-west are conducting inquiries following a home invasion early this morning.

Around 2am today (Saturday 5 December 2015), police were called to a rural property at Warren, following reports two people had been assaulted and a safe stolen from a home.

Police Are Re-Appealing For Information Following A Confirmed Sighting Of An Elderly Man

Police are re-appealing for information following what is believed to be a confirmed sighting of an elderly man who went missing from Emu Plains this week.

Norman Woodford, aged 78, was last seen at his Emu Plains home about 10.45am on Wednesday (2 December 2015).

His family reported him missing to police that afternoon after he could not be found or contacted.

Police have received a report that Norman was seen by a member of the public about 10.30am on Thursday (3 November 2015) on Russell Street, Emu Plains.

At the time he was walking in a northerly direction and appeared confused and disoriented. He was wearing a blue button up long-sleeve shirt, black pants and black shoes.

Urgent appeal for child and family – Regents Park

On Wednesday 2 December 2015, the infant child, and his parents, Salome Taufahema, 28, and Steven Kennedy, 25, left a home on Smith Street, Regents Park.

The family left the home in a gold Nissan Pulsar with registration plates ASY–14P and have not been seen or heard from since.

Officers were alerted to the missing family shortly before 8pm on Wednesday 2 December 2015 after concerns were raised by other government agencies.

Police hold serious concerns for the welfare of the infant, due to reports of erratic behaviour displayed by the child’s parents, who are both wanted by virtue of arrest warrants for the return of the child.

Police are asking members of the public to report any sightings of the vehicle or the family.
