Guernsey Police Give Islanders Insight Into Life of An Officer On Social Media

Police in Guernsey are taking to social media to give people an insight into the day-to-day life of their staff. Tonight, the force will be posting live updates on social media, including the crimes reported, incidents attended and calls received.

Police say the idea is to give an accurate view of their officers’ work, as well as the work of the High-Tech Crime Unit, Customs and Excise and the Neighbourhood Policing Team.

They will begin posting on their Twitter and Facebook accounts from 5pm until 3am tomorrow morning, then between 2pm-10pm on Sunday
