Queensland Police Assaulted, Three Girls Arrested After Woodridge Brawl Involving Over 50

A male Constable was set upon and a Police vehicle damaged, after officers were called to a large disturbance, involving around 50 teenagers at Woodridge yesterday afternoon.

Police officers have been attacked as they tried to break up a Queensland street fight.

One officer was punched in the face, while others were spat at and verbally abused as they tried to clear the crowd in Woodridge, south of Brisbane, on Friday afternoon.

Three girls, aged 12, 14 and 15, have been charged with seriously assaulting police, and are to be dealt with under the Youth Justices Act.
