A 16-year-old boy has appeared in court charged with the attempted murder of a police officer.
PC Guy Sinnott is in a stable condition after being stabbed once in the stomach and once in the leg after attending reports of anti-social behaviour near Bunsen House in Bow, east London, on Sunday night.
The boy, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was remanded in custody at Stratford Youth Court.
The 16-year-old, who is also charged with possession of a bladed item, spoke only to confirm his name, age and address.
He will next appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on December 1.
