Kensington Police Open Day Photos – Part 1

Kensington Police officers are famous Australia-wi3317413258823_b03d8f22b5_bde for their professionalism and masterful use of social media to engage the community. In recognition of their fallen comrades, the station opened its doors to the public for the first time on Sunday, May 24th – with all proceeds going to the not-for-profit WA Police Legacy organisation.

Citizens tried out uniforms, sat in police vehicles and took selfies ‘behind bars’ among many other attractions. Notable guests included Constable Care, the adorable (and very professional) police dogs and even a surprise visit by the Hockeyroos.

Western Australia’s Twitter celebrities Fiona and Pamela were there to enjoy and capture the spirit of the event in a collection of beautiful photos. Marty Owens, a highly sought after professional photographer, was also at the open day to cover the event in a series of memorable photos.

In this article we present the first ‘batch’ of the photos in Pamela’s and Marty’s high resolution albums. In Part 2 we will publish more photos, so make sure to follow us on Twitter to not miss out.
